In 1794 Bützow, widow Hornborstel, a top goose breeder, presses Mayor Hane to marry her. Rebuffed, he bans free‐range geese under a “goose edict.” Enraged, she enlists revolutionary‐minded Magister Albus to rally citizens. They rise for goose freedom, the duke deposes Hane, installs a new mayor, and Albus escapes across the border.

On September 20, 2023, Jakob Schubert was able to climb “B.I.G.” (formerly known as “Project Big”) in Flatanger, Norway—one of the most demanding sport climbing routes in the world. Originally bolted by Adam Ondra, the route remained a project for over a decade. After working on it together in 2022, Jakob returned the following year with a new idea: attempting the climb while livestreaming my tries. “B.I.G. – A World First” documents this journey—capturing not only the ascent itself, but also the mental side of pushing Jakob’s limits on a route that once felt impossible.

Although greatly abbreviated and simplified, and in a back-and-forth sequence, almost all of the dialogue and narration is based on words extracted from the original story. The setting of the original film (1957), in which long-distance calls are connected to a switchboard so that the recipient knows where the call is coming from, has been eliminated, and the public telephones are digital telephones installed after 1996.
